My Approach

Sarah has a particular passion for supporting children, adolescents, and their families, especially in the moments that matter most. She brings warmth, genuine curiosity, and a non-judgmental approach to every session — creating a space where young people feel safe to be honest, and families feel genuinely heard.

Her work is grounded in attachment and relational perspectives, drawing on evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, tailored to each young person's needs. She works with anxiety, depression, OCD, emotional regulation difficulties, and trauma, and is EMDR trained (Level 2, child and adolescent trauma).

Sarah also offers neurodevelopmental assessments for children exploring whether ADHD or other learning differences may be part of the picture — approached collaboratively, so families leave with a clearer understanding, not just a report.

As a parent and step-parent herself, Sarah understands how much courage it takes to reach out on behalf of your child, and how important finding the right fit is.
